This event is organized by the 'Awa Development Council (ADC), a nonprofit charitable organization devoted to furthering the understanding, use and appreciation of `awa. All contributions are tax deductible as allowed by law for 501(c)(3) charitable organizations. The ADC's supporters include the University of Hawai'i, Bishop Museum, the Lyon Arboretum Association, International Executive Kava Council, the Association for Hawaiian 'Awa, the UHM Center for Pacific Islands Studies, and many nonprofit organizations and volunteers statewide.
